Stand By For Code Red

Last weekend my parents came to visit and keep me company while Dave was away in Norway. We had such a lovely and lazy weekend hanging out in our flat. Over the weekend we went for a food shop to stock up on supplies and we visited a huge M&S and came across this beaut of a t-shirt. I also picked up a cute skirt but I’m saving that for another post, quite the super market haul!

This boxy little tee has the most glorious sleeve detail… and the colour is so wow!  I think it’s safe to say that red is my absolute favourite wardrobe colour this summer.

As we were having a casual day, just relaxing around the flat, I wore my new tee with a pair of ripped jeans.  Sadly, they are too big for me now and I really need to replace them with a smaller size;  but for the moment I will continue to  wear them.

What do you think of these mules? I think the embroidery injects an interesting print into this look. I’m a huge fan of mules, but hadn’t invested in this trend till now.  I think I’m drawn to them because I’m so in love with anything embroidered this season, which makes these beauties the perfect footwear for this outfit.

What I’m wearing –
T-shirt – M&S
Jeans – New Look
Leather Jacket c/o ASOS
Backpack c/o Rokit Vintage
Scarf – Topshop

There’s something about the red pieces you’ve shown lately. They really inject a vibrancy into your look without overwhelming your “Dark Shadows” vibe. It really compliments you😍
