Festive Party looks from Simply Be

December 30, 2016

So I’m hoping y’all had a great Christmas.
Well we’ve eaten the last turkey sandwich, watched many a Christmas film over snoozy, lazy days and now I really can’t face another candy cane. It’s time to get thinking about the next event in my calendar, New Years Eve…. and what to wear.

What are your plans? Well Lois and I are here to help, we’ve teamed up with Simply Be to show you our party looks for the big night. With so much choice at great prices, we had our work cut out just selecting one outfit each. It’s great fun co-creating ideas for our Mimi and Lolo projects, it works well as we have different taste and style preferences. For today’s shoot Lolo chose this bohemian look with this star print dress. She loved the floaty sleeves and lace up bust, it looks great on her. She’s brought the boho vibe together with knee high boots and a classic leather jacket.

I opted for a girly-glam look, this spotty sheer mesh dress caught my eye and it works is complemented by the collarless coat with adorable ‘on trend’ furry pockets. I spotted this pair of über sparkly silver sandals, they are a must and I quickly popped them on with a pair of lamė ankle socks. You know they look super cool and keep my toes warm too ;-). These sandals are versatile and can be dressed up or down to suit your vibe and occasion. A silver clutch bag was ideal to bring the look together, it works perfectly and besides, I just couldn’t help myself! I wanted a special finishing touch, so got all creative and made this velvet choker, I think it adds that extra something, don’t ya think?!

Well that’s Mimi and Lolo all dressed up and ready for our impending New Years Eve celebrations. Its fast approaching, so how will you be celebrating New Yeas Eve, In style all dolled up or all cosied up on the sofa in your pyjamas? Either way, I wish you all a happy and wonderful New Year!
