Beauty: Autumns Here

It’s been a while, but I finally have a new make-up look for ya’ll.
A while ago I did a little online shopping and ordered a fair old amount from Kiko – its so affordable and amazing quality too!
I picked up a new foundation, concealer, blush, mascara and some gorgeous lippies too. I know…. quite a haul hey?!

I love moody dark colours for autumn, these lush browns and rich burgundies were just the perfect treat to satisfy my craving.

I will talk you through my make up routine, firstly, I apply foundation, it felt velvety on my skin, I dabbed on some concealer and waited for a few seconds. to let it absorb, I then added a thin veil of powder to give finish to the base coat. With my skin primed, I picked up my blush brush. This blusher trio gives a nod to the current contouring trend, I found that using the three tones gave good shade to my cheek area. It was so easily achieved without actually having to go through the hassle of contouring. It has a natural look too, which I rather like.

Eyeshadow brush at the ready, I then got artistic and stroked a thin swish of colour to my eyelids. This smokey shade is so versatile, it works both as an eyebrow filler and an eye shadow, as I am happy with my full eyebrows, they really don’t require filling. Today I have used a light dusting to create shape and enhance my green peepers as an eye shadow. Nearly there now, just a thin stroke of eyeliner near to the outer lash line for definition and a couple of coats of mascara and my eyes are looking bright.

Now for the final stage, my lips. I’m using a lip liner to create definition. I carefully draw around the lip edge and gently fill in with liner pencil, you can blot with tissue or add translucent powder to create a good base to hold the creamy lipstick for longer. When set, I apply two coats of rich burgundy lipstick, you can use a brush if you prefer and blot once more to seal.

Now my autumnal look is complete and works a treat with this seasons wardrobe and colour palette; smokey eyes, dark lips and a hint of colour to my cheeks – Ta -da! I’m ready to face the world.

aw I love your pictures and the information that follows after it! I will definitely try some of the products you mentioned, like the bare minerals lash domination liner! Did it smudge at all? I have super oily eyelids hehe~ thanks for your post!

      Hey!
It hasn’t smudge on me and I am terrible for rubbing my eyes throughout the day. I would recommend it! X
