Scarlett of Soho…

amy_glasses_blog_074amy_glassesHome Try-On Kit!

The folks over at Scarlett of Soho got in contact with me about testing out their home try-on kit. They’re a relatively new company, launching in April earlier this year. What really caught my eye was the beautiful website, with its a great selection of frames on offer and the really neat thing is you can browse the site choose four frames you’d like to try and they send them to your home. You get to hold onto the frames for five days and give them a real road test. The thing I dislike about regular glasses shops is the pressure of picking a pair of frames there and then, last time I had to take selfies and send them to Dave to get a second opinion. This time around I can try the four frames of my choice in the comfort of my own home and get a second, third and even forth opinion 😉

About Scarlett of Soho

Inspired by an 18th century British eyewear craftsman and designed with the finer details in mind, with refreshingly affordable frames that are timelessly classic yet modern. There frames start from just £97 a pair, all in. No hidden costs, no ridiculous up-sells.

Incase you don’t now your prescription, Scarlett of Soho will be happy to collect your prescription for you and they provide this service free of charge. Kindly email them over some details and they will call your optician on your behalf, ask for your prescription, and as long as it is in date, they can then use the details to begin processing your order. How good is that, they really have thought of all the little details!

Now, which pair of spec’s to choose?!

My favorite style of frames has to be the Drummond in Burnished Amber, which is the pair I’m wearing below. I loved the colour and shape to the frames. To be honest as soon as I saw this pair I was hopping they would suit me, as they were my favorites! I liked all the styles I picked but I just loved these the most and the fact I was able to try them on at home, get friends opinion on them was just the best! I would highly recommend Scarlett of Soho, not only do they have an excellent selection of frames on offer but they take the hassle and stress out of choosing your glasses.

amy_glasses_blog_075 The Drummond in Burnished Amber features:

– Premium aged Italian acetate.
– Patented rivet hinges for durable stability.
– Unique frame-of-mind phrase on right ear tip.
– 1.5 index or free upgrade to 1.6 high index resin lenses, depending on your prescription.

Your favourite pair suits you well. My glasses are a similar colour but of different shape. Those round wouldn’t suit me. I need to wear square ones.

this is so cool, I also feel very anxious when buying a pair of glasses. I rather wait for a friend or my husband to come with me instead of going alone, because I never feel sure about my choice!
