Cath Kidston…

April 23, 2014

IMG_5503IMG_5508clocksI was lucky enough to be invited along to the recent Cath Kidston event as Katrina’s plus one. It was at their new flagship store in Piccadilly, this was my first visit to the new store and boy was it a pretty feast for the eyes! So many cute things to take in, some were props and others were for sale. I will one day get my hands on a retro push button phone and hopefully it’ll be a red one! I also loved the glass jar with all those clocks in it. My favorite Cath items were Stanley the dog related and the baking collection, too bad I’m a rubbish baker! But lets pretend I’m fabulous as its a blogger cliche to be! 😉IMG_5514IMG_5523stanIMG_5533IMG_5531I mean just look at those pretty scales and that Stanley timer! Just too cute!
IMG_5534 IMG_5537IMG_5584IMG_5587IMG_5549 IMG_5550They also treated us to yummy Meringues in a whole variety of colours and flavors  baked by the talented Meringues Girls. Also had safari themed cup cakes, Oh Cath you feeder!

Cath Kidston gets me every time. There’s something very Call the Midwife about the patterns and vintage feel. Do you have any of her stuff/how do you style using it? I think it’s lovely but worry that I’ll look a bit Grandma-esque if I have too much.

I’ve only ever really brought the odd mug or mainly stationary from Cath, I do love the home wear lots but it can be too girly for living with a boy. My friend Karina wears a lot of the clothing and mixes it in with vintage items and makes look like it’s from the 50’s in a stylish way.

That’s what I was thinking – Cath meets vintage 50’s. Thanks!
