Rainy Day Blues…

November 2, 2013

Did you all have a fun filled halloween!? I hope you enjoyed my last post as much as I enjoyed making it!    These photographs were taken on Saturday afternoon just as it started raining, over the weekend a storm hit England and shit got crazy. It mainly hit on Sunday/Monday, meaning people couldn’t get to work, train lines were down and the wind was just out of this world. It’s funny how in England we’re not able to cope with extreme weather conditions (for instance the snow!).

I could tell the weather was turning bad on Saturday afternoon and just our luck when heading to walk Coco and do outfit snaps, the heavens opened… But I think Dave did a great job snapping a quick few before we headed for cover. I’m blaming the rain for my moody looking face. ha ha.. Well I must dash as I’m off to greet my Father and show him around my new pad. He’s down for the weekend and I’m super excited to see him, it’s been far too long!

I like the way you balanced dark colours with a lighter floral print. It takes that moody winter vibes 🙂

I live in Berlin but I’m in England at the moment and thankfully I missed the storm ‘cos I’m in the North….
Anyway, I really love your lipstick. What is it?
As a dark-skinned woman its so difficult to find the right shade of colour. The perfect red lipstick for me was Dior but they stopped prodution of the shade that I liked….

My lipstick is a mini lip bullet from topshop, colour blood red. I find only red and some burgundy shades of lipsticks suit me. I’d love to wear candy pink shades but they look awful on me! I also have lady bug red from mac which is very cute shade too! Glad you were able to miss the storm. It was just very wet and rainy! X
