Afternoon Tea…

February 6, 2013

TeaBreak3With Carrot Cake!

Going for afternoon tea on a Sunday is one of my favorite things to do! Rachael and I often meet in our local, which serves lovely cakes and teas. We like to try out lots of different places but the Graveney Meadow seams to be the place we go the most. My tea of choice is earl grey and this time I tried the carrot cake, it was yummy! We like to try a different cake each time we visit and Rachael usually gets jealous of my choice, so this time she picked the carrot cake same as me 🙂 .

There’s nothing more civilised than sitting down with a friend over a cup of steaming tea and a slab of cake – I thoroughly approve!

I love going out for afternoon tea too! Although while I love your cake choice I differ on the tea. I’m firmly a breakfast tea lady. 🙂

Hmmmm… I’m really craving carrot cake now!

English or Irish Breakfast tea is my favorite alone but Earl Grey sounds delicious with carrot cake.
