A New Dress…

October 26, 2011

Wearing my new dress and stag necklace, the stag necklace was a gift from my mother. I’ve got quite the collection of animal themed jewelry now. It seams to be growing and the stag is the animal I have the most of, with a broach, now this necklace and I also picked up a ring the other day to!

This dress has it all, Peter pan collar, nipped in waist and a longer length hem. Which when I first saw this dress I fell in love with those details. I have how ever fell a little out of love with it as its hard to change it up each time I wear it, but it’s easy and classic and will no doubt get me through the party season. So I still love it.

What I’m Wearing –

Dress – Topshop

Necklace – Accessories

Bag – Vintage

I love it, but I agree it may be a wee bit hard to change up… pretty socks and tights, a belt, jackets perhaps?

    Love your blog! Tess xx

Oh it’s so pretty! I know what you mean about wanting to change up dresses though – I get to feeling embarassed wearing a stand-out often as I feel kind of boring and like people will notice if I haven’t changed up my outfit at all!

That’s silly though – we’re always being told that fabulous french women just buy one amazing dress and wear it all the time and don’t care because they know they look great, so lets embrace the French way of dressing!

Here here Harriet, why do we feel that we can’t wear something we love over and over? It’s such a classic dress, wear it to the deathlady!!!!! x
