Summers Evening

July 26, 2011

Finally some sunshine here in London, over the weekend we had lots of heat and sun. It was glorious, I popped on an old floral dress and teamed it with my hat. Quite a simple outfit for work and relaxing evening in the garden. It’s strange looking at my outfit posts lately, one minute there very autumnal and the next back to summer. This crazy weather is making getting dressed a night mare!

I’ve also tried out a new photo layout, just thought I’d have some fun with editing them. I think it would look great with a very vintage styled shoot and location. I will no doubt be doing this again. What do you think?

What I’m wearing –

Dress – Concession Topshop (Oxford Circus Store Only)

Cardigan & Hat – Primark

Bag – Urban Outfitters

Belt – H&M

Broach – Vintage

Brogues – Office

Photos – Dave Cox

What a lovely summery outfit! This weather is driving me nuts! Most of the time I take my outfit photos a little in advance of posting them and by the time I do the weather’s changed and I look crazy inappropriately dressed!

The weather is driving me bananas – by the time I get to work I am either much too cold or much too hot. Today I might have got it right for the moment, but I reckon I’ll get cooked or frozen later on :p. I love your take on the schizophrenic weather problem! Summery but snuggly. And you just can’t go wrong with a solid brown leather satchel :). xx

I am totally envying the weather you are having right now. It’s better than unbearably hot and humid!

I am loving this outfit, and your hair looks amazing. How do you mix brown and black so effortlessly?
