Feeling Blue….

September 22, 2010

This outfit post started out with me showing what coat I was wearing as well but while looking at the photos after we’d taken them, I was pulling silly faces in all of the ones where you can see my coat and dress (peaking through the coat) so I was left with pictures of the coat and then pictures of the dress but they didn’t look like they were from the same shoot day. So I decided to split them and do the dress post now and the coat another time. I seem to pull a lot of funny faces when we do these photos, its so funny to see them – maybe I’ll do another couple of out takes post soon! This dress is such an easy piece to wear, I’ve gone for a dressed down look with my wooly hat and little cream bag.

I’ve had this dress for a couple of years and I never tier of it, I like the fact it looks like a two piece rather than a dress. The flower embroidery and the white pleating in the bottom half of the dress.  I also love the navy and white together and I to me by putting the tan leather with this outfit instead of say red, which would give ti a more nautical look, I’ve made it quite casual with the brown accessories. If you view my blog regularly you will already know that its my slight obsession pairing tan accessories with every thing, especially with navy clothing.

What I’m Wearing –

Dress, Hat & Bag – Vintage, Thrift

Belt – Primark

Shoes – Topshop

Photos – Dave Cox
