Adios Summer…

Lately the weather has been so up and down, with warm sunny days then cool autumn days. I never know what jacket or how many layers to wear but slowly its turning into autumn with rainy days and getting dark early. The mornings and evenings are chilly with a couple of hours of warmish sun in between. It feels as we’re truly saying good bye to summer for another year.. I’m excited for autumn as love the styling and layering to outfits. But the evenings becoming darker quicker its a problem for taking my outfit photos, hence the lack of them this week. It’s been to dark to take them in the evenings and I need to buy a new tripod so I can do them on my days off before the dark-ness descends (our tripod got stolen BOO).

Today we set off to the park straight after work taking Coco for a walk, it seams it’ll be the best time for outfit snaps and on a wet chilly evening there was hardly any one in the park. It felt quite eery and lonely but I loved that, there was no one making rude remarks about us taking photos and Coco could run freely around the park. As it was raining I grabbed my umbrella not rereleasing it kind of matched my outfit, I’m wearing a recently brought vintage dress. It’s quite summery but I think it’ll work well with boots and chunky knitwear for winter then next summer with my straw boater hat. In fact its my current favorite dress!

Wow, I love your umbrella! It goes perfectly with your outfit. I’m a bit sad that summer is ovr as I know taking outfit photos is gonig to be sooo much harder now it’s dark in the evenings, but equally I love autumn/winter clothes, so I can’t be too sad!
