Seaside, Boats & A Vintage Dress…

August 11, 2010

This is the debut of my new vintage dress, the one I brought while on my shopping trip with Claire. Click here to see our outfits from the shopping trip. I couldn’t wait to wear this dress, I love every thing about it. The flowing silhouette and the floral print is the perfect combination. I wasn’t sure if would suit or flatter my body shape when I first picked it up, but after trying it on, I fell in love. It’s like it was made for my figure and fits perfectly. Usually with vintage or thrift clothes they can be a little big and need taking in, this dress fits like a dream. We took these photos at Ramsgate harbour and then at Boardstairs beach where I picked up my new hat.

I picked up this hat while at Folk Week, they had lots of stalls with all different types of things for sale. From hats to hippy dresses, it was fun having a mooch around the stalls. There wasn’t much I’d buy as it wasn’t really my style, but this hat was lovely and its like this one, which I want for my styling shoot. I’m so glad I found it, I’ve been searching all over the place for one, so very pleased with it!

What I’m Wearing –

We have plenty of photos taken on Dave’s Canon film camera, I just need to scan them in so hopefully have those up later in the week. You can see gothic Morris dancers, so crazy but exciting!
