Double Yellow…

July 23, 2010

Today I thought I’d show you some thing you’ve not seen before which is this vintage dress, its a couple of years old and believe it or not I haven’t worn it since last August nearly a year ago! Crickey thats a long time for a dress to be sitting in my wardrobe waiting to be worn. So I’ve dusted it off and teaming it with my mustard yellow cardigan and accessories and bring it out to show you. I didn’t realise how I’ve matched my yellow cardigan and accessories to the location setting until Dave pointed it out, how funny that I’ve coordinated my outfit to my location! I had far to much fun shooting these photos, twirling around and being silly. We’ve also shot a short film of this dress in the old ware house turned car park, I will fingers crossed be editing this over the weekend with lots of help from Dave, as I’m no technical whizz. So hopefully I will have my first video to share with you all, very exciting!

I love this dress when I first brought it, it was a new choice as I’d not really worn greens and yellows before. I usually stuck to reds and purples those kind of shades, I did have black hair then so they really suit it. But since then I’ve become a lot more brave with the colour pallets I go for, I mean look how bright this yellow cardigan is. I think it’s fun to experiment with colour as you can tell from my hair!

What I’m Wearing –

Dress & Bag – Vintage, Thrift

Cardigan – H&M

Belt – Primark

Shoes – Topshop

Photos – Dave Cox
