Denim & Florals The Perfect Combination…

July 21, 2010

The weather is still acting crazy, one minute lovely warm sun shine the next poring it down with rain, it’s tricky knowing what to wear. So I’ve opted for in my mind the perfect combination of a summer meets autumn look by layering my vintage skirt with my denim shirt, simple grey tights and tan accessories. I love the print and colours in the skirt and think my denim shirt matches the blue shades within the print.  I’ve worn this skirt before but due to the crazy moments of heavy rain I thought best to wear with tights, click here to see me wearing this skirt.

What I’m Wearing –

Denim Shirt & Shoes – Topshop

Skirt – Vintage

Belt – Primark

Bag – Nica

I’ve been working on my sketch book and design themes for my up coming shoot. My sketch book is really taking shape, I’ll have to scan in some pages and show you, I’ve been working on – silhouettes, illustrations, location & clothing ideas. I’m getting excited about the shoot, just looking for the perfect location and the right model and it can all go ahead. Today I went shopping for styling inspirations and to help my friend James get a summer wardrobe, in return he shot these photographs for me.

Photos – James, Thank you!!
