Hanging Out With Friends…

June 27, 2010

Today we hung out with our good friends Sonia & James, basically having a lazy day with food and beer gardens soaking up every last drop of sunshine. We also had a little fun with the camera and all got our posing on, it was quite fun doing What I Wore photos with other people. Didn’t feel such a poser as I normally do, think the fact the others we’re getting in on the posing game really helped. I will defiantly get them involved more often, plus I’ve got two guys looks in todays post. Which I think is pretty cool. So todays post has kind of ended up with a hint of Street Style mixed with a What We Wore of me and my friends, with quite a lot of photos…

As it been so hot lately we’re all in pretty summer outfits nothing to special just simple and cool. I’m wearing an old favorite, as its easy and keeps me cool on the warmer days, heres how I wore it last. It was a cooler day so had it with tights and jacket, todays is more bare and simple.

What I’m Wearing –

Dress – Topshop

Bag & Belt – Primark

Scarf (on bag) – Vintage

Shoes – Dune

Sun Glasses – H&M (I think)

This is my new favorite style to wear my hair, as it’s not quite long enough for milk made braids, so this is my equivalent. I rather like it and it’s so easy to do!

Heres a close up of my sandals, I just love the detailing on them.

Sonia & I having a giggle and not being able to pose with out laughing!

What Sonia’s Wearing –

Blouse & SHorts – Topshop

Bag & Bracelet – Vintage

Sandals – Office

Sun Glasses – Borrowed from James

James is sporting a casual look, simple white H&M t-shirt, jeans & white pumps. With cool topman sun glasses & straw trilby hat (borrowed from Dave).

What Dave’s Wearing –

T-Shirt – Urban Outfitters

Shorts – Urban Renewal @ Urban Outfitters

Shoes – Office

Sun Glasses – H&M

Straw Trilby Hat – Topman

I got these canvas pumps from Office for Dave the other day just to give him another summer shoe choice ( as I seam to have far more summer shoes to choose from) and there really comfy and easy to style up. I love how neutral they are and can easily work with the checked patterned shorts. A nice smarter alternative  from summer pumps.

I had such a laugh today and enjoyed all of our different outfits. Hope you did to!

Looks like fun – I always feel less self conscious when I’m taking photos with other people! I fugyre that way everyone will just think ‘oh, she’s a tourist’! I love your friend Sonia’s top, and the way you’ve done your hair is very sweet!
