1940’s Day Out Part One…

Canon AE-1 Program: Film Photo’s  –

This weekend we visited Worcestershire War Time Weekend over at Avoncroft Museum of Historic Buildings , there were plenty of fun events from 40’s washing demonstrations to taking cover from air raids. Me & Dave both took our cameras, me my Diana Mini and his vintage Canon. Here’s his set of photos from the event. I will post mine tomorrow as there not as sharp as Dave’s, mine are much more grainier but still brighter and colourful and very cute in their square frame format. I had so much fun at the event and it reminded me of how much I love the 1940’s fashion and dressing in vintage! I got to try on so many wonderful hats. Check out these wonderful condition cars, oh how I long to have a car like this, so shinny and pretty!

How cool are these old telephone boxed and this cute little arch way.

I nearly died with excitement when I saw the old police box its like the tardies off Doctor Who. Yes I am a big fan!

There was a live battle field ruination of D day, it was fun and scary to watch. Lots of smoke and gun fire. Not live gun fire but loud enough to make you jump!

I just love this photo of Dave, I love the vintage jeep and  his outfit.
