Denim & Florals…

June 17, 2010

This week the weather has been so lovely and warm, especially today. Really hot and sunny, when the weathers like this it makes me want to wear floral dresses even more than usual! I wore my sun hat today in an attempt to keep my head cool and I wore, well I held my denim jacket most of the day, far to warm to wear it but I feel naked and unstyled with out a jacket or cardigan. Like my outfit isn’t incomplete even if its way to warm for one.

My friend Caz brought me this cute brown silk scarf today as a cheering up present! How nice of her. I love the colours and will be styling it up in an outfit post soon, I just popped it on with todays. I think it kind of works with it as the colour pallet is the same.

I must admit this is one of my favorite dress I own, I never get bored of it no matter how many times I wear it. I just love the 40’s inspired tea dress silhouette, the poppy flower print, the colours. That light brown, grey and pale blue’s just make the dress. I’ve worn it a couple of times here and here.

What I’m Wearing –

Denim Jacket & Bracelet – H&M

Dress, Vest & Shoes – Topshop

Hat – Primark

Bag – Urban Outfitters

Ring – Freedom Jewelry

I’ve got this hat too 🙂 I love it and was such a bargain!

Totally know what you mean about always having something over a dress, struggle to part with my denim jacket on warm days too!
