While in the South of France we nipped over the boarder to Italy and visited Hanbury Botanical Gardens. It was a lovely sunny day spent wandering around beautiful gardens. The gardens were built on the side of a huge hill ending at the sea. It had a stunning central stairway leading down the middle of the gardens, but also had lots of  little meandering path ways leading to hidden pretty flowers and statues to photograph, you couldn’t tell how steep the hill was due to all the winding pathways. Once we reached the bottom we stopped for a picnic, where we could hear the sound of the sea crashing into the rocks below. It was idyllic and one of my favorite days spent on the holiday!

Dave was at the top of these stairs taking photographs down of me, while he stopped to view the snaps. I quickly shouted him to sit down and let me take a picture. I really liked the framing of the image. I also got a photograph of my Father and Dave together and one of my sister, looking rather glamours in her black maxi dress. We have totally different styles but I think thats cool, as we don’t all want to dress in floral dresses and hair bands.

 I love this little jacket, it’s so light weight and I’m a huge fan of the rust colour. While away it was chilly enough in the mornings to wear a light jacket but still warm enough to go bare legged. I teamed my favorite vintage skirt with tan accessories and a simple grey tee. I also used my Billingham camera bag that day, which is perfect to take my camera around and my lipstick.

I wore this to explore Monaco, which was great fun, we walked the F1 track. Dave is a huge F1 fan so it was a must do thing while in the South of France, but I will tell and show you more of Monaco in another post

Wandering around the harbor, along the sea front and into the old town. We visited Art galleries and beautiful city gardens, then headed into the main shopping streets. Where I picked up a new black little satchel style bag and Dave got some pretty snazzy t-shirts. The main shopping street was just as charming as the rest of Nice. Dave’s taken some amazing photography from our trip away, make sure you pop by his blog to check them out. There really beautiful and well worth a look!!!

I can’t help but take a photograph when I see a reflective mirror surface! The sea and sky’s were so blue and clear. I wore my floral crown and new favorite dress to explore Nice. For more details on my outfit click here.

Hello! I’m back from the South of France, I had a wonderful time. It was great spending time with my family in the sunshine. I have plenty of photographs that need sorting and editing. I shall be getting them ready to post and share with you soon, but for now heres my favorite outfit I wore while away. I teamed my nude coloured dress and floral crown with my new little jacket. I wore this to explore Nice, but these photographs were taken at our Villa in the evening just before sunset. It had amazing views over looking the vale and down to the sea front.

See You Later Britain, Sunshine Here I Come!

I’m fully in holiday mode now, as you read this I shall be on the plane and heading to Nice, France. Fingers crossed it’ll be sunny and with lots of beautiful places to explore and photograph. Oh and I’m looking forward to wearing pretty dresses, exploring old towns and eating lots of lovely food! Heres some imagery thats given me that holiday feeling. 

I’m hoping to find funky looking ice creams like these.

I shall be wearing my floral crowns and frolicking in the sunshine!

The weather hasn’t been as warm this weekend but in-between the April showers we managed to get a good walk in. It seams every other post its tights on tights off, this fickle weather aye! I’m wearing this little primark dress with a vintage blouse underneath. I love black and white together and the extra something that adding a pop of red brings.

I’m really pleased with these photographs and the outfit, it all came together beautifully. I got this floral crown from Mad Elizabeth and I new how I wanted to style it, I’m starting a collection! Then when I came across this dress in the Topshop sale, I just knew they’d make the perfect pairing! I added my little loafers, studded “kisses” belt and army jacket to toughen up the look. This is an outfit I will definitely be rocking while on holiday next week. I’m beyond excited!

The woodland was also the setting for my Forest Flower shoot. The contrast from winter to summer is clear with the amount of greenery. This is by far my favorite outfit photo spots. I think its so pretty and with lots of different interesting corners to explore making it the perfect picture taking location.
