Now this is an outfit I just loved putting together and thoroughly enjoyed strutting around in. It hits all my fashion buttons, showcasing this novelty ‘IT’ bag – this floral tapestry bag is from Zara and pays homage to one I spied on the Miu Miu catwalks at London Fashion Week.
I played with a Victoriana throwback vibe in the form of this ruffled blouse and cord shift dress, of note in the late 1960’s. All in all its a mix pot of fashion and I bloody love it!
I originally picked up this bag along with some other pieces for Paris Fashion Week, but alas with me being ill and in hospital I had to cancel my trip (I’m beyond gutted to say the least). I had grand ideas for this little bag but they can wait for another day and for one when I’m going somewhere real fancy. For this post, I toned down the bag and paired with this dandy style blouse and simple cord shift dress. Adding my trademark trusty fedora and vintage loafers because lets face it they match in colour perfectly and in my books you can never have to much of this deep oxblood / maroon colour in one outfit! I also grabbed my black leather jacket as it was a bit nippy out and this leather babe is my current number 1 fave leather jacket!
