1940’s Style Coat –

Winter has truly set in and it’s SO cold now, I’m not good with the cold. I’ve been digging out all my old coats trying to find the warmest one. I’ve had this coat from Topshop since I was 17, it’s lasted well and my Father would be pleased to see it’s still going. I remember loving its 40’s style and the furry cream collar and the tweed fabric. These are still the things I love best about this coat, oh and how it makes me feel elegant and retro, even though its not. Well I guess 8 years, isn’t it after 10 years it becomes retro?! Not long to go then! Ha ha, do you have any old treasures hidden in your wardrobe you  fancy digging out? Winter5

Love love love all the furs! My father-in-law is going to London in about 2 weeks! I wish I was going too! If I am ever in London, we should get together!

Hello mrs! Love the white faux fur trim on the coat and the hat – swit swu!

There’s no excuse for not staying stylish and warm in the winter weather – and this is the proof 🙂

How immensely lovely. I adore the blend of textures on your coat, as well as the over all colour palette of tranquil browns and wintry white. So very, very pretty.
