This skirt started out as a maxi but for some reason I just didn’t like the longer length but knew I’d like it as a midi. When I got it back home I grabbed the scissors and chopped a lot off! I much prefer it and glad I took the risk of cutting it.

I kept the styling simple and teamed it with an old black t-shirt, my new black loafers and a little black belt, which has a cool horse on it. My straw hat and bag were just calling out to be worn with it.

What I’m wearing –

Hat, Belt & Skirt – Primark

T-shirt & Shoes – Topshop

Bag – Urban Outfitters

Sunglasses – H&M

Ring – Freedom

This outfit is adorable. I love how the bag compliments the hat, subtle yet very effective. xxx

That skirt looks perfect as a midi! I’d be way to scared to start chopping my clothes, but I love how you’ve done it!
