Day Trip -

London…

Yesterday I headed down to London and meet up with my friend Claire and visit the Maison Martin Margiela exhibition at Somerset House, we had such a good time wandering around the exhibition and watching the crazy cat walk shows on huge video screens, reading up on the history behind the brand. There were so many surreal elements to their work and so many fascinating displays, un-fortunately we wasn’t allowed to take photographs but check out this article in the Telegraph about the exhibition. If your in London and fancy a good rather cheap (only £5.00) day out, I highly recommend this exhibition, we were wandering around for a good couple of hours, soaking in all the information.

After this we wandered along the river front and checked out the Houses of Parliament and took some cheesy photos posing next to the River Themes then stumbled upon Westminster Abbey, by this time it was quite late in the day and the Abbey was closed but we had fun taking silly photos out the front and really enjoyed our huge amounts of walking around all different areas of London. The only bad thing was I didn’t get any street style photos, I didn’t really have time plus we didn’t see any one cool or it wasn’t good timing, i.e on the tube or in the exhibition, next time though!

I also brought a very pretty dress which I will show you in my next Close Up Of The Week , It has some lovely details on it, I’m so excited to wear it. I’m trying to think of a pretty location to do a outfit post with it!
