Double take mixing men’s and women’s wear to create androgynous styled shoot.
Mixing androgynous touches with tailoring is on trend for Autumn Winter. Both male and female can adapt this trend by using different fabrics and items of clothing and mixing them around to create strong looks for both sexes to make a masculine styled outfit or by using nipped in waist belts and soft fabrics to build a more feminine but still strong androgynous themed outfit.
- Both male and female hermaphroditic.
- Having both masculine and feminine characteristics.
- Having an ambiguous sexual identity.
- Neither clearly masculine nor clearly feminine in appearance.
Style Trick –
Smart tailored garments can be mixed with denim jeans and soft bow’s to create a mixed androgynous strong double take look. Males and female can wear shirts with ties, but adapt it for each sex.
Layering is key, using different fabrics and patterns placing a shirt and bow tie under a waistcoat, with a trench coat over the top paired with slim leg jeans, will create powerful layered outfit, this can be played around for both sexes.
Style Trick –
Nipped in waist with rolled up slim legged jeans with a peter-pan collar blouse and a thin silk bow makes a soft androgynous look feminine.
