With the weather fast changing from a mild autumn to a cold winter the parks are full of change. I love taking walks in the park with all the leaves turning brown. It creates a beautiful back drop for pictures. So on a chilly but dry winters day, we wrapped up to brave the elements and take the dog for a walk.
This created the perfect photo op for showing off our winter wardrobe and with faux furs, wooly coats and of course gloves to keep us warm we set off.
Walking around the park we came across some lovely spots just perfect for picture taking, with our autumn inspired outfits consisting of floral vintage dresses abd cardigans nipped in at the waist, my mini brief case and box bags, scarfs used as bows in hair and bow ties. I teamed my wooly coat and bag with a pair of old man brogues. What more could we want from an outfit for a walk in the park!?

I much prefer winter dressing to summer. With layering, fabric textures, colours and prints making outfit builds more in-depth and exciting when getting dressed in the mornings. Coats and gloves become apart of outfits not just a means to keep us warm.
Shoes influenced by old mens brogues give summery florals a tough winter edge to them.
A soft floral cardigan layer over a white dress with faux fur coat, big bow in hair and cute patterend gloves gives Sonia a fun playful look.
Winter makes the park feel special and exciting with all shades of brown fallen leaves, lovely big trees to walk between and peak behind.
I had so much fun today, even though it was freezing cold! This has given me the idea to create more winter wardrobe styling shoots,
with tips and tricks on making your winter coat apart of your outfit builds.
Using accessories like bow scarf’s, faux furs, gloves and hats to make it that extra special look just for you!
Hope you’ve enjoyed the walk in the park through pictures as much as we did…
